Having both parents run businesses, work ethic was instilled in me from an early age. I had seen the hours, persistence and passion first-hand, necessary to provide quality service every time to our customers. My parents believed in having goals and then setting out to achieve them.
When I was 10, I decided I wanted to be an airline pilot so started washing dishes in a cafe to pay for flying lessons. I began flying when I was 14, obtained my ultralight licence at 15, private licence at 17 and commercial pilot’s licence at 18. I’m proud to say it was all self-funded. Flying is still a passion of mine and I now take every chance I can to be in the air!
While completing my business degree in Accounting, I owned a supermarket where the business lessons continued. I had the business for 3.5 years, working long, hard hours which turned into success, where I won the Supermarket of the Year awards for 2012, 2013 and 2014.
I was offered a graduate accounting role in Sydney where I worked for 4 years and completed my chartered accounting qualification and became a registered tax agent. Once again, I gained valuable business lessons, realising that I wanted a business that valued relationships, high levels of customised service and achieved their commitment to their clients.
Because of this passion and commitment, we decided to settle in Brisbane and open our own practice and positioned to take our business
